Eksplorasi Dan Penelitian Keanekaragaman Tumbuhan Di Kawasan Hutan Lindung Rigis 45B, Kab. Lampung Barat, Prov. Lampung

Forest conditions in West Lampung quite alarming, it is because the rate of deforestation and forest degradation is very high perceived threatening the sustainability of forest resources and the influence of global climate change. In order to ex-situ conservation in botanical gardens Liwa, on the 15th of Apri - May 4, 2014 has been to explore and research the diversity of plants in the region 45B Rigis protected forest District West Lampung, Lampung province. This activity aims to determine the spread of a plant, put together a collection of living for ex-situ conserved in Liwa and the Botanical Gardens are developed and investigated further as live specimens are useful for the development of science. The method used is the method of exploration (survey) that did explore the area in different directions to collect plants of rare, endemic, interesting and unique. Collections were collected 1,060 specimens of plants, consisting of 160 species, 107 genus and 52 Family. Based on observation and identification, there are plants that includes 84 species of trees, 16 species of shrubs, vines 33 species, 16 species of annual plants, herbaceous bulbous plant 3 species, 6 species Rhizom herbaceous plants and ferns plants 2 species, and that includes an ornamental plant, there are 31 species. Six plant species is a rare plant species of Podocarpus neriifolius D.Don., Aglaia elliptica Blume., Styrax benzoin Dryand., Alstonia scholaris (L.) Br., Kadsura scanden (Blume) Blume dan Alyxia Reinwadrtii R.Br. Noted there are two protected species of plants and are included in the category of rare species of Amorphophallus gigas Teijsm. & Binn.and species Nephenthes gracilis Korth.
