Perisesarma maipoense (Soh, 1978) previously considered endemic to Hong Kong andMacau, is recorded from northern Vietnam, and redescribed based on a paratype and Vietnamese specimens.Perisesarma maipoense is characterized by a row of 5–8 fl attened, indistinct tubercles on the dorsal surfaceof the dactyl of the cheliped.
