Keragaman anggrek alam di kawasan konservasi Bukit Bungkuk, Kabupaten Kampar, Provinsi Riau

Bukit Bungkuk is a nature reserve in Riau Province with a lot of potential plants. Orchid is a plant group that can be found in this region, some of which are attractive plants with high economic value. The purpose of this study is to make an inventory on the diversity of the epiphytic and terrestrial orchids which grow naturally in the area of Bukit Bungkuk. The method used in this study is explorative. The results showed that at least 20 species of orchids found in this region consist of 6 terrestrial and 14 epiphytic orchids. These orchids are threatened by to illegal logging, forest clearing for plantations, and the death of trees due to the hydroelectric.
