Potensi hutan lindung Gunung Kelud sebagai plasma nutfah tumbuhan liar berprospek ekonomi

Mount Kelud is well known for its ecotourism. On the other hand the economic value of its vegetation is poorly known. The study of usefitl plant in Mount Kelud Protected Forest is in adequate. Only a few researchers have observed the wild plant potential for medicinal use. Eight transects were established to investigate those plants. Twenty-four species were found to be potential for medicine, seven species as source of fruits, eleven species as ornamental plants, and thirteen species for other prospect.
