Review Of Potential Saponins Extract From Kolowe Fruit Seed (Chydenanthus excelsus) As Pharmaceuticals : A Wild And Rare Plants from Indonesia

Kolowe (Chydenanthus excelsus) is a wild and rare plants as well as a small genus in the world, found only in the Andaman Islands, Myanmar and Buton islands, Indonesia. Seeds of this plant were found to contain saponins, spread in the fraction of nbutanol, methanol, methanol-water (7:3) and (1:1) to reach 41.96%. The saponins extract has several potential biological activity such as cytotoxic, antikoksidan, antimicrobials, and potentially toxic to humans.
