Karakteristik Beton Busa Menggunakan Abu Cangkang Kerang Hijau sebagai Bahan Penganti Semen Portland

Since the increasing awareness to environmental issue, many researchers are developing of concrete technology from waste material or natural material. This research used the green muscle shell as replacement cement which the percentage of substitution cement were 0%, 5%, &,5% and 10% by weight. The aim of this research are to know the characteristics of foam concrete (physic and mechanic) include density, compressive strength and flexural strength. The result of this research are 604 kg/m3 - 697 kg/m3 for the density, 1,4 – 1,6 MPa for the compressive strength and 0,85 – 0,95 MPa for flexural strength. Rekayasa Sipil, Vol. 5, No.1.
