Kura-Kura dan Bulus yang Diperdagangkan di Propinsi Jawa Tengah dan Yogyakarta
Five turtle species were traded in Central Java and Yogyakarta Provinces, included four native species (i.e. Amyda cartilaginea, Dogania subplana, Cyclemys dentata and Siebenrockiella crassicolis) and one introduce species (Pelodiscus sinensis). Based on interview with hunters and middle men in Banyumas, Wonogiri, Sragen, Boyolali, Gunung Lawu, Tawangmangu and Majenang, most respondens said the stock number for Amyda cartilaginea was decresing from time to time, however a middle man in Sragen said that the stock was stable from time to time. Almost respondends said that the stock number for Cyclemys dentata and Siebenrockiella crassicolis will be stable if the quotas were not increased by Scientific Authority; but in the other site the respondends asked Scientific Authoriry to increase quota for Dogania subplana.
